April 27 - Nicky update

Nicky checks in and talks about Motegi

Just what we didn't need in Japan, got taken out first lap turn 4. Glad I wasn't getting paid by the laps in Japan ‘cuz with the big rain storms and crash I didn't put in many laps.

The week had been going much better than in Qatar. I felt like the team and I  worked more smoothly and more productively during the week which was good.

So until kamikaze, oh I mean Takahashi  took me out, I was excited to go racing and needed the race to keep learning this new bike, ‘cuz in Qatar the race is where I learned the most.

Anyway were over Japan and its on to Jerez where we’ll go back for more!!!  I was lucky and thankful after having got packed off the  track on a stretcher ‘cuz I rang my bell pretty good. I seem to be ok tho’. So bring on Jerez and cross the fingers we can get a result.

Also check the photo of my lil niece Olivia making’  her debut motorcycle ride at the world famous sunset downs race track, looks like Earls racing team has a new member!

We’re gonna have to work on her form a bit tho, but the training wheels are off.  Also a pic of my Helmet from Qatar and Japan, I hit in basically the same spot.
