Nicky's update - after QatarApril 18

Well that first GP on the Ducati didn't exactly follow the script we were hoping for. The positive point though is that the last half of the race was the best I went and felt all week, so I hope we can understand how the bike changed as the race went on and also the feeling I found.

I need to keep going forward and work from there, because the gap to the front in Qatar was not cool. My body is okay luckily. Sure the race was hard and I was beat up pretty good, but I am recovering well and expect no problems for Japan. I will probably have the clinic remove my stitches on Thursday then I should be good to go.

I really hope to have some fun in Japan. It is always a special GP and I have always kinda had a love / hate relationship with this track - a few times its been real good and other years not so much.
